Request for Proposals and Request for Information Development

Our proven approach to developing Request for Proposals and Information and conducting the solution selection process is to thoroughly describe our client’s business, enterprise communications and workplace learning model. This includes an extensive listing of the organization’s functional, operational and technical requirements and interests, and business objectives.

The scope of work (SOW) is designed to identify how the vendor solutions, services and business approach meet these requirements, including but not limited to: hardware; software; formats; distribution capabilities; content development, management and tracking tools; network management tools and capabilities; system requirements; interface and security requirements; implementation approach and requirements; and service level agreement approach.

Enliten is solution and vendor neutral. We are committed to helping our clients select the right solution(s) based on objective criteria they specify to meet their requirements.

Solution Selection

Enliten assists clients with the review and evaluation of the RFP responses and provides perspectives and guidance toward the selection of the preferred solution.

We work closely with our client stakeholders and procurement organizations throughout the RFP process:

Provide guidance and support to address vendor questions and issues, including participation during vendor conference call(s) or meeting(s)
Review and assess proposed vendor solutions and approaches
Provide a high level overview, including perspectives and recommendations

Evaluate vendor solution demonstrations
Evaluate vendor presentations
Address industry related issues and questions (information clarification)
Provide guidance and/or recommendations on architecture design

It is Enliten’s belief that client representatives should make the vendor solution selection. We provide guidance and insight.

Following the vendor selection, we can provide guidance and support services related to contract negotiations, implementation planning, and solution implementation, testing, and certification.

Regularly scheduled and/or ongoing evaluations and performance reviews of system and operational competencies are recommended. We provide evaluation guidance and ongoing support, including communications analysis and strategy session(s) to determine the extension of contracted services or the need to initiate a solution/vendor selection process.
